Hi, I'm glad you're here.
Let me tell you a little about myself.

I'm Julie,
I created The Fitted Home because I know how easily our spaces end up working against us, instead of supporting us.

I know, because I've been there.
There was a time when my own home felt like proof of everything I wasn't managing.
The chaos around me matched exactly how I felt inside. I was overwhelmed, frustrated, and ashamed. The kind of shame that made me close some doors when someone visited, because I didn't want anyone to see.  And I didn't know where to start.

"Your home should be your sanctuary — not another thing on your to-do list."

No judgment. Ever.

I've been overwhelmed myself. Nothing will change how I show up for you.

When I’m not organizing, I’m usually outdoors or with my latest foster dog.

Animal rescue has taught me patience and empathy, traits I bring to every project. Whether it’s toddler chaos, pet mess, or years of "life" piling up, I’m not here to judge the mess; I’m here to help you through it.

Before The Fitted Home, I worked in the luxury hotel industry.
I saw first-hand how a well-considered space could make a person feel at ease the moment they walked in. That effortless, calm, "everything in its place" feeling.
But this isn't just for holidays. It can exist in everyday life too. That's what I want to help you create.

Easy over perfect.

We create approaches that are simple enough to maintain in real life, not just on the day of the session.

Your home, your way.

No one-size-fits-all methods. Everything is designed around you — your habits, your routines, your life.

You stay in control.

I don't throw things out or make decisions for you. I help you make decisions that feel right and that last.

We do this together, and I'm genuinely rooting for you the whole time.

If you've ever closed a door before someone could see inside, or stood in a room and not known where to start. I want you to know that I see you. And I know the way through.

The first step is just a conversation. No commitment, no pressure, no tidying up beforehand.

—  Julie

I moved to Australia from France eight years ago.

Starting over in a new country, new language, new culture, building everything from scratch, is one of the most disorienting things a person can do. Your home becomes either your anchor or the evidence that you're not coping. For a while, mine was the latter.

The shift came quietly. And in the process, I learnt something that has shaped everything I do: The way your home feels changes the way you feel.

When I finally found calm in my space, I found it in myself too.
